A well - known technique used in the corrosion resistance industry is the conventional lining, or sheet lining, which uses Fluoropolymers in a the form of sheets.
The main feature of this process is to fit a polymer sheet, with an opened or closed shape, onto the internal surface of a metal structure at a room temperature conditions.
This lining system provides excellent corrosion resistance up to 220 deg C. The surface of the lining is smooth enough to prevent adherence and build of the media inside the vessel. Loose lining are suitable for equipment with simple shapes such as flanges cylinders with blind covers or conical. This system is suitable for slight vacuum conditions if installed unaided. Full vacuum rating is achievable by a mechanical reinforcement.
Due to our superior welding skills, the seams between two sheets reveal the same mechanical characteristics as the sheets homogeneousness.
Based on our experience, we can advise which material best suits the customer's technical and commercial requirements.
