A well - known technique used in the corrosion resistance industry is the bonded sheet lining method which uses Fluoropolymers in the form of sheets.

The main feature of this process is to bond a polymer sheet onto the internal surface of a metal structure at a room temperature. The virgin Fluoropolymers sheets have a backing (glass or textile) which enables the adhesive epoxy - based agent to bond to the sheets on the metal substrate.

Bonded lining is engineered for vaccum and mechanical resistance applications. In severe conditions, Engiplas uses mechanical reinforcement as a backup. The surface of the lining is smooth enough to prevent adherence and the building pup of the media inside the vessel.

Due to our welding skills, the seams between the two sheets reveal the same mechanical characteristics as the sheets.

We can advise the best material to use, based on our experience and the customer’s technical and commercial needs.
